Each chapter draws on a text or body of work from Polish literature and looks at its global reception, as well as its position within "World Literature". The book presents a dual perspective of how Polish Literature is read and viewed globally, as well as how it shapes and influences "World Literature" as a whole. With a detailed introduction offering a narrative overview, the book is divided into six sections offering a chronological pathway through the material.
